PomPom Kitties Klutz kit

Kit says it makes 3 cats, but has enough ears to make 6 cats, collars for 4 cats, yarn for at least 4 cats, eyes, noses and mouth pieces for 3 cats, pipe cleaners for 4 cats, and enough glue for 1 maybe 2 cats.Glue runs out quickly, and it would’ve been nice if they included a few more noses, mouths, and eyes. You will need scissors and probably extra tacky type glue.

Kit retails between $12-$20 usd, meaning each cat will cost $3.99-6.66 each
Making the actual pom poms with the included tool can be difficult, the pompom maker didn’t want to stay snapped together. Tying the pompom with just yarn like instructed will leave a very loose pompom making it very easy to tear out pieces of yarn. If you’re not careful when trimming, brushing, and fluffing your cat you could easily destroy it because of this. Using a bit of waxed sewing thread instead of or in addition to will create a tighter knot and help hold the pompom together better.
The book tells you how to get different patterns and ideas for other cats. Overall It’s a cute kit if you’re bored or are interested in making pom pom cats/animals. Extra cat eyes are easily found online or most craft stores, as is yarn. Extra ears can be made out of felt, and will probably look nicer than the included cardboard ones.
